Oh where to start! Well I will say that last week was overcast just about every day. I might have caught the sunrise once. But this week started out with the most beautiful cherry red sun rising up over the tennis courts next to my job! OH MY! Wonderful...lol. Since I had missed it for so long, I definitely picked up where I left off and then some...
I have noticed some really amazing things since I started Sungazing. First off, the trouble comes from having to STOP looking at it...:P I am lucky enough to be an early riser so I am always able to catch the sunrise from the second it peeks through the landscape. I find that where I live, that I am able to see the sun about 10 minutes after it has officially 'risen'. But I have no trouble looking at it for what ends up about 20 minutes. No its not the 10 seconds a day, but I definitely did practice that for the 3 weeks up till the time the weather got icky. But now I find the Sun is so soothing that I want to keep looking at it. If I didn't have to go back in to work, I feel like I could do another 15 minutes no problem. I don't know if that's just b/c of me, or b/c I can always catch the Sun at Sunrise, but it has had no ill effects on me whatsoever.
I have been feeling more energized, less hungry, more in 'control' of sorts, and generally just better! :D I have had some hormone related issues the past year or so and that has improved dramatically. God knows I would never make that up since I was ready to go on meds. to deal with it a couple months ago. How I never stumbled across Sungazing before now, bends my mind!
This has to be the best thing since a giant plow...lol, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in search of that ever elusive 'balance' in their lives. This seems to be some sort of anchor in life. Not that I am not trying to say that it is the same for everyone, obviously, but I can report that there is something significant to it for me. :)
Good luck! ~ Elle
